🏛 Temple Origins

Sri Maha Mariamman and Ramar Temple, Bukit Cermin Division, Jasin Lalang Estate, Jasin, is technically in existence for over 150 years. Previously IOI GROUP owned the estate and subsequently the estate was sold to GLM EMERLAND INDUSTRIAL PARK SDN. BHD in year 2000, and IOI PLANTATION SERVICES has been managing the said estate since then.

This temple not only signifies a place of worship but has also become a sacred heritage. The elders of the estate confirm that their grandparents arrived from India to work in the estate and their children were all born here. The estate community maintained deep roots in this land for generations, with the temple at the heart of their spiritual and social life.

During 1994, all the estate people migrated out of the estate. Yet the temple committee successfully held all poojas and praying ceremonies without any failure — a testament to the unwavering devotion of our community.

🏠 Temple Relocation

As the temple was situated on estate land, the management undertook efforts to acquire the land with a proper title directly under the temple. With Divine blessings, the new owner Parkland Avenue Sdn Bhd allocated a piece of land at Bandar Botani Parkland, Bukit Cermin, Jasin, Melaka and assisted with initial funding.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Parkland Avenue Group for their invaluable assistance in ensuring the temple’s future for generations of devotees.
