Maha Rajyam Temple is graced by seven sacred deities, each embodying a unique divine aspect, guiding devotees on the path of righteousness, prosperity and liberation.

Ambal
SRI MAHA MARIAMMAN

The presiding mother goddess of the temple. Sri Maha Mariamman is the goddess of rain, fertility, health and healing. Devotees seek her maternal blessings for protection of the family, recovery from illness and abundant prosperity.

She is worshipped with great devotion during Adi Puram — the grand annual festival featuring the sacred chariot procession.

Rama
LORD RAMA — 7TH AVATAR OF VISHNU

Lord Rama embodies the ideal of dharmic living — righteous conduct, devotion to duty and unwavering virtue. The Rama temple at our site has existed for over 150 years, originally from Kadalayam.

Rama Navami, Puratasi and Hanuman Jayanthi are celebrated grandly every year with palakku processions.

Vinayagar
LORD GANESHA

Lord Vinayagar (Ganesha) is worshipped first in all Hindu rituals as the remover of obstacles and lord of new beginnings. He bestows wisdom, intellect and success upon sincere devotees.

No venture begins without seeking his blessings — Vinayagar Chaturthi is celebrated with great devotion at our temple.

Murugan
LORD MURUGAN — PATRON OF TAMILS

Lord Murugan, son of Shiva and the beloved Tamil patron deity, represents divine beauty, youth and victory. Armed with his Vel (spear of wisdom), he destroys ignorance and ego.

Thaipusam is celebrated in his honour with the traditional kavadi procession, drawing devotees from across the region.

Muthupan
PROTECTOR & WISH-GRANTER

Muthupan is a powerful and beloved deity worshipped across Kerala and South India. Known as a compassionate granter of boons, he is approached by devotees seeking protection, blessings and the fulfillment of sincere wishes.

His presence in our temple adds a unique spiritual dimension cherished by many in our community.

GUARDIAN & PROTECTOR DEITY

Muniswarar is a revered guardian deity who protects villages, families and communities from evil and misfortune. He is the dispenser of justice and the guardian of dharmic order in the community.

His fierce yet compassionate nature makes him a beloved protector, especially for those facing life’s challenges.
